Seattle -> Iceland -> London
Note to self: plan a layover in Iceland next time. IcelandAir allows a stopover on the way to Europe at no additional charge. Smart marketing! I will add that to our bucket list.
We are staying with former Russian Exchange student, Anya and her husband Avi and kids Rohan (4) and Alisa (1). Rohan is a bright eyed little boy who speaks Russian, Bengali and English. Alisa was a bit shy at first, but once she found out how much fun I am, she became my good friend.
Did you know that Watford, UK is where much of Harry Potter was filmed? There is a Warner Brothers studio tour near here of the Harry Potter set and everything. We didn't do the tour. Too busy helping around the house.
We got right to work helping Anya and Avi with some jobs around the house. Rohan and I helped David with the cord of the electric mower. David put up some shelves and hooks to help Anya and Avi organize even more.
Tomorrow we head off by train to our narrow boat adventure. Stay tuned!
